As we approach the end of October, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been a month full of growth, achievements, and forward momentum. From awareness days to exciting projects, here’s a look back at key moments that made October a busy one for MJV Consulting:
1. Major Projects Completed
This month saw the successful completion of several important projects that have been in the works for some time. Our team pulled together to deliver outstanding results, and we’re proud to say we exceeded expectations. October was all about getting things done.
2. Team Development
October brought a host of professional development opportunities, with team members attending key conferences and training sessions on Employment Law legislation changes and completing up to date Safeguarding training.
3. Exhibiting at the Gatwick Business Show
One of the big highlights of the month was our participation in the Gatwick Business Show. We had a great time showcasing our latest offerings, meeting with local businesses, and networking with so many talented professionals. The positive feedback we received was overwhelming, and we’ve already started planning our next steps to build on the connections made at the event.
4. World Mental Health Day & Menopause Awareness Day
October saw two of the most significant days in the awareness day calendar: World Mental Health Day (October 10) and Menopause Awareness Day (October 18). They both highlight critical health topics that often go under-discussed yet affect millions of people worldwide. Let’s take a moment to reflect on both, understand their importance, and continue conversations that can lead to better support, understanding, and action.
Mental health is everyone’s responsibility and by taking small steps together, we can make a big difference in ensuring mental health care is prioritised and accessible for all.
Menopause is a natural stage of life that affects half of the population, yet it’s a topic that often lacks the open conversation and support it deserves. Menopause Awareness Day was an opportunity to show solidarity, educate ourselves, and foster a more supportive environment for women at this critical stage of life.
By breaking the stigma and offering support, we can help ensure everyone feels empowered to talk about their experiences, seek help when needed, and navigate these challenges with the understanding they deserve.
