Try following these top tips in the morning to get your day off to a good start:

1. Wake up a little earlier than you normally do – give yourself a head start

2. Go for a 10 minute walk around the block or a quick run – get some air in your lungs!

3. Eat a decent breakfast to fuel your body – not doughnuts and crisps!

4. Listen to a podcast or read the newspaper – learning something new each day can help with your drive and focus.

5. Plan for the day ahead – Make a list of things to be done, goals you want to achieve. Prioritise what needs doing and make sure you factor in breaks. Most importantly – be realistic about what you can achieve in a day.

6. That one thing you’ve been putting off for a while – make it the first job you do! Get it done and feel good about it, it’ll help you to keep a positive attitude for the rest of the day – you’ll feel a sense of achievement.
